Lenovo Yoga Book X90F. Model number: Lenovo YB-J912F. This guide will help to replace the keyboard if it does not work after trying to turn it on. This keyboard is useful when using the Lenovo Yoga Book in laptop mode. The relevant troubleshooting section can be found using this link. Please be aware that when replacing the screen, there is a large possibility that it will crack and will need to be replaced. Take caution as the screen is made of glass.

Turn off and power down the device before beginning this process. A heat gun or hair dryer will be suitable to heat the adhesive that holds down the screen. Apply heat to the entire surface area of the bottom screen.

Once the adhesive has been heated up, take the iFixIt suction cup and lift in a corner. The screen should be separating from the adhesive here.

While the screen is lifted, insert the ifixit opening pick to help pry off the screen.
basically by this technique the screen WILL be cracked (as the images here show, and as I was actually expecting sadly). I wonder if there is a safer technique to remove the screen, even though it is too late for me now?
I also &&^&@@ up the screen following this guide. Too bad, the thing costs 160 euros.
This is barbaric work. The keyboard is broken at the edges. In other words, it's not just the battery that needs to be replaced 😁 It wasn't heated enough at the edges. You shouldn't tense up

While the screen has been lifted, insert the plastic opening picks. Heat the adhesive and follow with the screen removal tool to ensure that you are not prying it apart with excessive force.

After the screen has been opened, disconnect the ribbon connecting the bottom screen to the motherboard by gently pulling the ribbon with tweezers.

If there are black coverings on the tabs as shown in the second image, carefully remove them using a pair of tweezers.

Was your keyboard cracked before you removed it? I see the first photo has an intact keyboard...
I've been given two of these, one with a dead keyboard and the other with a destroyed primary display. I want to transfer the functioning keyboard to the other intact machine. Is that possible, or will that destroy the keyboard?
Hi Sam, it looks like no one has replied - my answer would be that the keyboard will be destroyed. I had to remove the keyboard to replace the battery, and the guide on IFixit for that implied that the risk of removing the keyboard meant destroying it. So I accepted that risk, and now I am trying to source the [right] replacement keyboard. I was sent a Spanish language keyboard, which really isn't right for me and have said that to the seller and asked for the English version, but sadly they were out of stock. If you have found one please let me know!
An addendum to my previous comment, this Youtube video suggests you might get away with it Sam! Probably requires the right heatgun (maybe not a hairdryer!) And patience...
I like this yoga book and I have the this broken bottom keypad and i dunno where do i have to get the spareparts
