Remove all twelve 6 mm long screws on the back of the laptop with a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

Pull off the back cover of the laptop. It should come off easily.

Remove all six 7mm screws from the heat sink using the Phillips #1 screwdriver.

Remove the heat sink.

Take note of the gray thermal paste on the back of the heat sink.

Hope someone see this cmt. I cannot lift up the heat sink for some reason. All 6 screws are removed. Any advice?
