    • Flip the laptop upside down as shown in the photo.

    • Remove the 8 0.2mm Phillips screws connecting the back cover to the laptop.

    • Remove the back cover using the opening tools.

    • Gently use the plastic opening tools to prevent scratching your device.

    • Remove the Hard Disk Drive card by screwing the 2 0.2mm Phillips screw

    • Disconnect the SATA cable from the hard drive.

    • Take off the connector by carefully popping its holders out of place

    • Reconnect the cable to the new Hard Disk Drive

    • place the connector in order to hold the cable

    • Place the new Hard Drive Disk

If you have an SD card in the SD card reader make sure to remove it before trying to remove the case cover, otherwise it will not come off, and you risk damaging your motherboard if you force it.
