Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to loosen the six captive screws.

Use an iFixit opening tool to start prying under one of the hinges, between the baseplate and chassis, and work your way around the perimeter until the baseplate releases.

Lift off the baseplate.

Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the four screws securing the battery.

On both sides of the plug, use your fingernails to "walk" out the battery cable connector until it releases.

Remove the battery by lifting it up and out with your fingers
