This guide will safely and effectively teach you how to access and replace the battery component on the laptop.
To start, you'll need to remove the back panel of the laptop to access the battery.

Remove the 7 mm Phillips screw from the back of the laptop that secures the optical drive in place.

Carefully slide the optical drive out of the laptop.

Remove the twelve 7 mm Phillips screw from the back of the device.

Use opening picks or a plastic pry tool to remove the cover on all sides then lift.

Detach the battery pack connector from the motherboard using your fingers or an opening tool.

Remove the four 7 mm Phillips screws surrounding the battery.
