Lenovo IdeaPad 3-15IML05 Bottom Cover Replacement

Use this guide to remove the back cover of your Lenovo IdeaPad 3-15IML05. You may need to remove the back cover to access the internal components to replace one, clean the inside of your device, or replace a damaged bottom case.

Before you begin, make sure to power off your device and unplug it from the power adapter.

    • Use a Phillips #1 screw driver to remove:

    • Six 5.0 mm screws

    • Four 3.0 mm screws

    • Use an opening tool to pry the bottom cover from the device.

    • Use the opening tool to go around the entire perimeter, releasing the tabs that secure the cover to the frame.

    • Insert opening picks between the bottom cover and the frame to prevent the case from reconnecting.

    • Carefully remove the cover.
