Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screw from the battery compartment on the back of the toy.

Remove the back battery cover and all of the batteries.

Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the nine case screws from the back of the toy.

Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the four screws from the motherboard.

Remove the keyboard ribbon from the motherboard.

Remove the speaker wires from the motherboard with your soldering iron.

Remove the battery wires from the motherboard with the soldering iron.

Remove the switch wires from the motherboard with the soldering iron.

Remove the pen wires from the motherboard with the soldering iron.
