This guide will show you the steps to replace the charging port on the LG K30.
Rather than buying a new phone because it will no longer charge, you can use this guide to replace the charging port. Please be sure to use caution when working with the soldering iron, as it can get very hot.

Power off your Phone before beginning disassembly.
-
Use the 'Jimmy' and 'Metal Spudger' to slowly pry open the outsides of the back case.
-
-
-
Remove the thirteen 3.4 mm Phillips #00 screws securing the midframe to the display assembly.
I thought I passed math class. I count thirteen screws, not nine.
-
-
-
Use a metal spudger or plastic opening tool to pry open the outer cover.
-
-
-
-
Use the flat end of a spudger to detach the battery connector from the logic board.

I can't believe how much adhesive was holding the battery. It took me over an hour to get the battery out. Do they always put a gang of glue on these battery's?
Are you sure a metal spudger isn't better suited for this task? I am currently doing this guide and my plastic ones barely did anything to the adhesive, while also occasionally bending and landing a few scratches on the battery's covering. Metal spudger eventually took care of it, but I am also worried about accidentally hitting a few things on the motherboard and that thw adhesive tore a small part of the battery's covering (which I put back since it was sticky, but now I am worried that I might have to replace the battery.
Apply a few drops of 91% alcohol along the two sides and the bottom edges of the battery, then place on a hot plate at 80*c for about five minutes. DON'T use a metal Uspudger;I use a plastic iFlex and go under the edges ofd the battery. You are right, the adhesive is extremely strong and unnecessary, but you have to remove it WITHOUT bending the battery if you plan on reusing it.
I have a LG K30 the battery is not connecting to the motherboard how to fix this problem

-
Use a spudger to carefully disconnect the front camera connector.
-
Use a spudger to disconnect the display cable connector.
-
-
-
Remove the motherboard assembly from the display assembly with the a spudger or hand.
-
-
-
For a guide on how to solder and unsolder components; please refer to: How To Solder and Desolder Connections
-
Peel back gold plastic protective film on motherboard to reveal 4 solder points which need to be desoldered with the desoldering wick.
-
-
-
Flip the motherboard over to the backside and use soldering iron to melt the solder on the charging port terminals; use the desoldering wick to remove the solder.

Is the K30 the same inside as the K40?
You forgot to mention to remove the SIM card. My card housing was bending up with the case inside the slot.

Thanks for mention that ! But you don’t have to take out SIM card or micro-SD card to remove just battery. We perform this task 3 to 4 times, all time battery and SIM card slot was safe. @Thomas_Tommy

There is a light adhesive around the edges so applying some heat to the plastic cover first (I use a hot plate at 80*c for about 5 minutes) and some alcohol along the edges will really help.
