Replacing a Keurig water filter will help your machine run smoother. This also helps improve the quality of brews.

Soak the new charcoal filter in water for 5 minutes.

Remove the water reservoir from the Keurig machine by gently lifting up on the reservoir and pulling it away.

Remove the lid from the water reservoir and empty any remaining water from the tank.

Remove water filter holder from within the water reservoir by pulling up on the holder and lifting it out.

To remove the old filter, pinch both sides of the filter holder at the base and pull it apart. Remove the old filter by lifting it out of the filter holder.

Dispose of old water filter cartridge.

Take the soaked water filter and rinse it under running water for 60 seconds.

Place new water filter cartridge into the upper filter holder.

Snap the bottom of the filter holder back on by aligning the tabs with the spaces
