A blown fuse can render the KDC-BT565U unusable. Replacing of a dead fuse with a proper 10 amp car fuse can restore the unit to working condition. This guide shows you how to replace this fuse.

The fuse can be found on the back of your radio indicated by the red square in the photo.

Pinch the fuse head with your fingers or a gripping tool to remove. This may require some force.

Reinsert a fuse that has the same amperage of the fuse that was previously removed (10 amps).

I disconnect the negative side on my 502 DPX Kenwood in-dash stereo system I replace the alternator and hook everything back up and now I have no power to the receiver
