This guide will guide the user to effectively remove and replace the antenna. This replacement will take 20-30 minutes. However, if the guide is followed to the letter, the task will be accomplished with minimal damage to the device.

First step is to remove screws from top and bottom of device.

Upon removing the back panel, place the device screen down on the table.

Identify the antenna cover on the top of the device.

Remove the two screws holding the antenna cover in place.

Use a prying tool to remove the plastic piece off of the antenna component.

Identify the antenna component as the gray cable that comes out of the plastic cover.

Remove all of the adhesive tape pieces off of the antenna cable.

Once all of the adhesive tape has been removed. Pull out the antenna component.

The antenna will be attached to the chip in your device. Be careful not to pull off.

Solder of the wire that is connected to the chip in order to be able to remove the antenna component.

Once this is done, you can replace your old antenna with a new one!
