Follow these steps to recover the firmware on your Jadoo 4Q.
This does not apply to any other Jadoo 4 model, as the Jadoo 4Q is the only Jadoo 4 model to come with a Micro SD card slot.

You'll need a Micro SD card that is 16GB or more (A USB storage device won't work).
-
-
-
Format the Micro SD card with the FAT file system if you haven't already. Notice: formatting will delete all files on the card.
-
-
-
Copy the eight files in the link below to the root of the Micro SD card, not a folder.
-
-
-
-
Disconnect the power.
-
Insert the Micro SD card in the side of the Jadoo box and reconnect the power cable of the Jadoo box. Notice: this will erase all data on the box.
-
-
-
Grab your toothpick and press and hold it firmly into the reset hole for 20-30 seconds.
-
-
-
Please wait for 2-3 minutes. Your Jadoo box will automatically start the recovery.
-
-
-
Now wait for the recovery process to complete (it will take ~7 to 10 minutes). In case of any issue please let us know.

Thank you.
Thank you.

Hi, followed the above process (two attempts) on my Jadoo 4Q box, the recovery process step 7 completes, Jadoo reboots but does not show any channels, or VODs, etc. from the main menu. Wifi is connected fine and on checking the diagnostics it shows all entries populated except for the last three - "Server name : Unable to retrieve", "Registered/Version : Unable to retrieve", "Device status " Unable to retrieve". Any suggestions?
JadooTV was shut down thanks to Dish networks lawsuit. Only now apps can be used like YouTube, Kodi, etc
