Use this guide to replace the faulty battery of the JBL Xtreme 4 speaker.
The JBL Xtreme 4 speaker is a roughly football sized speaker. You can tell it is time to replace your speaker's battery when it no longer holds the full 24 hour charge it is advertised to have. This defect could also be because of insufficient charging so please check that you are giving your speaker a full charge before using this guide. The battery can be replaced through a watertight panel on the base of the speaker which is secured by two screws. Something to note is that the watertight seal can be damaged through the process of battery replacement due to scratching it with your pry bar.
You will need to buy a JBL Xtreme 4 battery from an online vendor to use as a replacement. To avoid injury to yourself and damage to the speaker, make sure that the power is completely turned off when you begin the replacement.
