  1.     • Insert the plastic opening tool in the crack in between the cover and the rubber spine with the power button.

    • Pry off the cover, beginning with the side without the volume and bluetooth buttons.

    • When prying the cover off, it will make a snapping sound.

    • Pull off the cover with your thumbs.

    • Remove all four 10 mm JIS #1 screws around the damaged front active speaker.

    • The speakers are strong magnets. Keep metal tools or other magnetic objects away from the driver.

    • Insert the plastic opening tool under the unscrewed front active speaker.

    • Pry off the front active speaker with the opening tool.

    • Do not yank the front active speaker out. It is connected to wires within the device.

    • Cut the red, white, and black wires connected to the speaker using wire cutters.

    • You will need to re-solder these wires when installing the new speaker.
