Remove plastic outer housing using hands or a standard spudger.

Important! Note the three alignment pins on the inner part of the housing. When reassembling, take special care to line these up and insert the pins into the receivers on the chassis prior to snapping the edges into place.

Carefully remove outer housing to expose the inner components of the speaker.

Remove the silicone button cover to expose the power chip.

Heat the adhesive at the far end of the chip where the ribbon goes down into the device. Using the spudger, gently pry the chip off the board. Be careful not to melt the plastic edging during heating.

If your gentle, you don’t need a heat gun. I carefully removed it with a screwdriver. Just don’t stress the board else your in a new set of problems.
How do you remove the board? It says to remove the chip from the board but there are no images that show that.
The title says replacement, and you show only the removal.
