This guide is to help you replace the internal speaker in a JBL Clip 3.
If the original speaker in your JBL Clip 3 stops working due to a mechanical failure and causes the speaker to produce no sound at all or an unpleasant buzzing or scratching sound, use this guide to replace it with a new speaker.
Note: Before beginning, make sure to power off the JBL Clip 3, and disconnect it from any external power sources.

Insert the iFixit opening tool between the speaker grill and speaker housing and pry around the entire perimeter of the device until the grill releases.

Use a Phillips #1 screwdriver to remove the five 6.3 mm screws around the perimeter.

Separate the speaker housing from the rest of the body.

Use tweezers to remove the 2 pin and 4 pin connectors from the motherboard.

Use a Phillips #2 screwdriver to remove the two 6.3 mm screws.

Firmly grip the speaker connection plug with tweezers and pull it straight up, perpendicular to the motherboard, to release it.
