The plastic base covers the electronic components inside the instant pot. Before you can touch anything inside of the device the base must be removed.

Take off the lid of the Instant Pot. Grasp the handle and rotate the lid counter-clockwise, then lift up to separate the lid from the base.

Take out the inner pot and place it somewhere out of the way.

Flip the Instant Pot over on its top so that the base is facing upward.

Remove the single 12mm Phillips #2 screw holding the base to the device.

Rotate the base counter-clockwise, then gently lift the base off of the device.

Were do I get this item? All other appliances I'm used to have a blow-up drawing, where every single item usually can be sourced.
Had higher expectations for Instant Pot in regards to spare parts, one of the reasons I did not want a knock-off,
If the base can’t be found, what is the point of having instructions on how to repair it? I can’t find a base either!
