Place the remote control facing the camera lens Turn the camera on, and check that you can see the remote control's front face.

If you can see a light in the camera screen then the remote is functioning!

What might be the problem if it is always blinking, but it stops when I press any of the buttons?

Faulty electronics or push-button switches. You could try squirting in some contact cleaner
