When you want to clean the inside of sawdust, or replace a part, you will need to open up the jigsaw. This guide will not only show how to open it, but also which specific steps are needed to close it again.

Unscrew the bolt holding the guide plate to the jigsaw.

Unscrew the 10 screws holding the 2 frame halves together.

Separate the 2 halves by slowly prying them apart, going around the edges evenly.

When separated, take care of some loose parts.

The nut holding the guide plate bolt.

Piece of plastic holding some cables.

Metal strip pushing the blade back.

Regardless of how the halves are separated, to put them back together, it is practical to put the saw blade mechanism in the halve with the rest of the parts.

Then, make sure the right parts line up and are fitted correctly:

The holes for the blade holder. The axis is located on the other halve.

The blade driver.

The blade guide.
-
The metal strip.
-

Now, add the empty halve on top of the halve containing the parts.

Screw everything back together.
