If you are looking to replace the bearings on a street skateboard, this guide is for you!
Skateboard bearings enable the smooth rotation of skateboard wheels at higher speeds, however they collect dust and grime with normal use, eventually becoming less efficient.
Hence, throughout this iFixIt guide we will be focusing on how to replace the bearings on a Street Skateboard. Before using this guide, assure you have all the necessary tools to perform the replacement.

Lay the skateboard on its side so that bearings and axles are facing toward you.

Using a skateboard tool or wrench, unscrew the axle nut above the wheel.

Remove the wheel from the axle.

Position the wheel halfway on the end of the axle.

Holding the skateboard down with your other hand, use the end of the axle to pry the bearing out.

Set the old bearing aside.

Repeat the previous step with the other side of the wheel to remove the other bearing.

Place a fresh bearing face down (colored side down) onto the axle, and push the wheel down against the metal truck to pop the new bearing in.

Hold the skateboard in place with your other hand.

Take the wheel off.

Add another fresh bearing onto the axle.

Repeat the previous step for the other side of the wheel by pushing the wheel down to pop the bearing in.

Place washer(s) onto the axle and then screw the axle nut back on.

Repeat steps as needed with other wheels.
