With a magnifying glass there is RESET written with a small diamond [THE ARROW] at one part of the back under the battery, On the side there is a slot that you put a piece of flat metal, small tipped screwdriver, into it. This will touch the contacts inside to reset the watch.

my comments don’t seem to be working.

I agree that these instructions are very deficient when describing how to reset the battery. I just spent 1/2 hour resetting an Amitron MD0699. One is supposed to bridge about a 2 mm gap between 2 vertical bands of metal. The space to approach this is very small. A normal paper clip tip is too narrow for this purpose. A large metallic paper clip tip might work, but you will have to prove that the metal is conductive. My micro screwdriver set didn’t work; I didn’t realize the metal was non conductive til I tested it with an electrometer. In the end, the electrometer tip was just the right size. I reassuring little chime rang when the reset occurs. All these little fine points would have made the original post useful.
