This step-by-step guide shows how to replace the shower door seal found at the bottom of the shower door. Generally speaking, the shower door seal strip should be replaced every 1-2 years; however, also consider replacing it if it is torn, cracked, or too dirty.

Remove the old shower door seal by sliding it off the door.

Clean the area where the old seal was at the bottom of the shower door.

Mark how long the new shower door seal should be per the previous measurement.

Cut the new shower door seal on the mark placed in the previous step.

Sand/Smooth Off the side of the seal that was cut in previous step.

Slide the new seal on with the deflector facing the inside of the shower.
