Soak Barbie Head in hot water for 3-5 minutes.
-
-
-
Remove the Barbie head from hot water and immediately pinch/squeeze the head to widen the neck hole.
-
With your available hand, use the tweezers/long nose pliers to gently remove the neck joint from inside the head by pulling and carefully wiggling the neck joint side to side.
-
-
-
Once the neck joint is free, place the ball/round end of the joint into the neck.
-
-
-
-
Put on gloves and a mask then set up acrylic nail set supplies (acrylic liquid, acrylic powder, brush).
-
Pour a small amount of acrylic liquid into the glass dish.
-
-
-
Dip the brush into the acrylic liquid then immediately dip it into the acrylic powder.
-
Slowly apply the acrylic to the missing section on the neck a little at a time.
-
-
-
Let cool for 2-3 minutes then wiggle the neck peg around gently and slightly until it disconnects from the acrylic and moves with ease.
-
After a couple more minutes, wiggle the neck peg again.
-
-
-
Once the acrylic dries, soak the head in hot water again for 3-5 minutes.
-
Pinch/squeeze the base of the head and gently reapply the Barbie head to the top of the neck peg that is now attached to the neck base.
-
The Barbie is now complete and is able to move its head normally once more!
