Clean the jump rope if it’s dirty or used, and remove the handles.

Set the pot on a stove and let it reach boiling temperature.

Place a large bucket outside.

Place the crinkled jump rope into the bucket.

Carefully pour the boiling water into the bucket.

Let the jump rope sit with the boiled water in the bucket for about 3 to 5 minutes.

Remove the jump rope with a pair of tongs and place them on the ground.

Find a circular object to wrap the jump rope around and slowly apply force to pull and hold it for about 2 minutes.
