This guide shows how to increase the hard drive size of the 2013-2017 MacBook Air 13" (A1466), by adding an M2 SSD.
You'll need:
- NVME M.2 SSD - I used samsung 970 EVO Plus 250 GB NVME M.2
- Sintech Adapter kit e.g. https://mackabler.dk/ngff-m2-pcie-ssd-ko...
- Alternatively you may use OWC SSD, which does not require adapter - see https://www.owcdigital.com/products/aura....
- However OWC ssds are slower than the newest Samsung SSDs.
- Recovery USB disk with OSX - ref https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT201372 I used Catalina.
