Have a loose turret on your Sony Cyber-shot DSC-F828 camera? This guide will show you how to successfully repair that turret so your photo-taking skills can return to optimum performance. A shock-free mat or a grounding bracelet is also recommended when fixing this particular device.

Slide the button back to open the battery cover.

Pull back on the tab to release the battery.

Pull the battery out, then close the lid.

Remove the screw on the back of the turret with a JIS #00 screwdriver.

Remove two screws from each side of the camera (four in total) using a JIS #00 screwdriver.

Remove the screw on the bottom of the turret using a JIS #00 screwdriver.

Carefully pull the face plate off and lay it down.

Tighten the two screws using a JIS #00 screwdriver.
