Put the cleaner into the upright position, turn off the power and unplug the power cord.

Remove the dirt cup from the cleaner.

Twist the top of the dirt cup to open it and reveal the rinsable filter.

Remove the rinsable filter from the dirt cup.

Squeeze out excess water and allow to dry for 24 hours.
