This guide will serve to assist in replacing the plastic earbud housing in the case itself. In order to complete these steps, you will need a 3.5mm flathead screw bit and an ESD-safe prying tool. One reason you may need to do this is to replace the magnets that hold the case itself shut.

Use an ESD-safe pry tool to gently pry open the case from the metal hinge that connects the white part of the top and bottom of the case together.

Using the pry tool, go from the back of the case where the hinge used to be and pry up to pop out the charging housing.
