A faulty Wi-Fi card can cause loss of network connection either completely or intermittently which can make it difficult to connect to the internet. This guide shows how to replace the Wi-Fi card module in the The HP Zbook 15u G2.

Turn the HP Zbook over and flip the switch at the top so the red part is visible.

Pull the back cover down to remove it.

Flip the two switches on the top of the battery so the red is visible.

Lift the plastic tab at the top of the battery up to lift the battery up and out of the device

Use a pair of tweezers or carefully use your fingers to lift and remove the two wires attached to the Wi-Fi card.

Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the M2x3mm screw that secures the Wi-Fi card.

Gently lift the Wi-Fi card up and pull it out. Then, place the new Wi-Fi card into the slot where the old one was.
