  1. HP ProBook 430 G6 SATA3 Hard Drive Upgrade, Remove the screws from the base: crwdns2935265:01crwdnd2935265:01crwdnd2935265:01crwdne2935265:0
    • Turn off the laptop and remove power cable.

    • Flip the laptop upside down.

    • Remove the labeled screws with Phillips #0 screwdriver.

    • Remove the metal base with iFixit Opening Tool or Opening Picks.

  3. HP ProBook 430 G6 SATA3 Hard Drive Upgrade, Disconnect the battery: crwdns2935265:03crwdnd2935265:01crwdnd2935265:01crwdne2935265:0
    • Disconnect the battery by removing the labeled screws and lifting the battery upwards from the box-labeled connector.

    • Battery disconnecting is very important to do before any replacements!

  4. HP ProBook 430 G6 SATA3 Hard Drive Upgrade, Upgrade the SATA3 hard drive: crwdns2935265:04crwdnd2935265:01crwdnd2935265:01crwdne2935265:0
    • Unplug the SATA3 cable from the old hard drive.

    • Place the new hard drive to box-labeled point and plug the SATA3 cable to it.

    • If the SATA 2,5" hard drive place is empty, the SATA3 cable might be taped to the base, like in the picture.
