    • Turn the laptop upside down with the battery compartment facing you.

    • Slide the battery release latch to the right and hold in place.

    • Lift the front edge of the battery up and remove it from the compartment.

    • Orient the laptop with the memory cover towards you.

    • Unscrew the three 2x5mm screws with a #00 Phillips screwdriver.

    • Remove the memory cover.

    • Pull the two tabs on both sides of the memory stick to release it.

    • The memory should pop up on its own with very little force applied to the tabs.
