    • Locate and remove the battery from device

    • Use a Phillips screw driver to remove the the two screws that hold the service cover in place.

    • Remove the service cover.

    • Remove the screw that locks the CD drive in place

    • Push on the rear end of the CD drive with a small non-metallic item to free it from the case

    • Pull the CD drive out
