Overall there very little new cautions and hazards added to this guide. When looking at issues that may be caused by faulty or damaged speaker, is lack of sound or damaged wires. Accessing the speakers can only be accomplished after the prerequisites are met which are listed later on.

Flip the laptop over so that the underside is facing you.

Using your hands, push the two tabs inwards to release the battery.

Remove the battery from the device.

Remove eleven screws from the back panel.

Remove the optical drive from the side.

Remove the back panel from the device.

Using the Phillips #0 screwdriver, remove the two screws (one on each speaker) securing the speakers to the motherboard.

Gently unplug the speaker connector from the motherboard.

Carefully untangle the red wires tucked in between the black plastic tabs.

Remove the speakers from the device.
