Flip the laptop over so that the underside is facing you.

Using your hands, push the two tabs inwards to release the battery.

Remove the battery from the device.

Remove eleven screws from the back panel.

Remove the back panel from the device.

Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the single screw securing the fan to the motherboard.

Disconnect the fan wire carefully so that the fan is longer connected to the motherboard.

Carefully detach the connector above the hard drive.

Remove the hard drive from the device.

Disconnect all of the cables attached to the motherboard.

Using a Phillips #0 screwdriver, remove eight screws from the motherboard.

Using the same screwdriver, remove four screws from the motherboard.

Gently lift and remove the motherboard from the device.
