It will show the disassembly steps needed to remove and replace a laptop screen if it is broken or cracked without having to replace the entire laptop, saving money for the user.

    • Prior to removing the base plate, the battery must be removed.

    • Press the two tabs on the back of the laptop inward to release the battery.

    • Pull the battery straight out slowly and firmly.

    • Insert a plastic spudger into the groove around the laptop screen and gently loosen the plastic bezel away from the display.

    • Use the plastic spudger and loosen the display away from the back of the screen.

    • Continue to use the spudger to detach the small plastic detents holding the screen in place.

    • Disconnect the display cable and remove the screen.

    • The screen can now be reassembled!
