This guide will outline the process to replace the hard drive for the HP Omen 15, more specifically in the model ax200ne. A user may require a hard drive replacement after years of wear and tear, or even for an upgrade to their storage. Whatever the reason, this guide will show you exactly how to do so. Fully power off the laptop.

If you are unsure that your laptop is in hibernation mode, turn the computer off from the start menu.

Unplug charging cable and any external devices.

Position the laptop upside down on a flat and clean surface.

Remove the two Phillips M2x5.0 screws located at the top left and top right of the laptop (circled in red).

Remove the eight M2.5x6.0 (circled in orange).

Slide the nylon opening tool around the edge of the base enclosure, releasing the three clips by the battery area.

Continue to slide the nylon opening tool around the edges of the base enclosure, doing so while loosen the cover.

After successfully loosening the base enclosure, and removing it. You will be left with an exposed motherboard.

Unplug the battery from the motherboard.

Release the battery cable from the routing channel to reveal the screws beneath.

Remove the four 2x5 screws using the Phillips screwdriver.

Slide the battery out of its space to remove it from the computer.

Disconnect the clip attaching the hard drive cable to the motherboard.

Slide the hard drive out horizontally.
-

Disassemble the hard drive by removing the connector and the side brackets.

Reattach the side brackets and the hard drive connector.

Slide the hard drive back to the original spot.

Reclip the hard drive to the motherboard.

Can someone help me, I am getting a problem related to my hard disk. I upgraded from a hard disk to ssd nearly a year ago and i had my harddrive outside of my computer not plugged in. But when i am trying to put it back in there is a error the hard disk doesn’t show up nor in this pc or device management. But, it shows up at the boot manager in the bios when i try to boot from it it doesn’t boot it says ‘no boot device detected’ something like that. And when the hard disk is connected to the pc the ssd do snot boot up it gets stuck at hp logo loading screen forever. And when i tried to boot the hard disk with usb drive(put windows in it ) it gets stuck at blue screen nothing written only a blue screen. The cursor shows up and when i clicked on some random keys in my keyboard it shows some options like when we do rightclick on the window border (minimize, close etc)
