    • Remove the two anti-tamper covers from the bottom corners of the screen using the spudger which will reveal two screws.

    • Remove the two 3mm screws using the J00 Phillips screwdriver.

    • Move the plastic opening tool along the seem while prying up to separate the display housing from the laptop cover.

    • If the touch screen housing is cracked, it may splinter or shatter while separating.

    • Remove the four 3mm screws using the Phillips #00 screwdriver.

    • Lift the white UPC tape using the spudger, and disconnect the the golden connector from the screen.

    • There may be a piece of black tape connecting a bundle of wires to the screen. Remove the piece of black tape if present.

    • Remove the touch screen.
