    • Shut down the computer

    • Remove all external devices

    • Unplug the AC adapter

    • Close the computer

    • Turn it upside down

    • Remove the 12 screws from the bottom.

    • Gently remove the service cover

    • Disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard.

    • Remove the 4 screws that hold the battery.

    • Gently lift the battery out of the computer.

    • Carefully pull the retaining metal tabs at each side of the RAM stick to the side

    • Pull the RAM stick at a thirty degree inclination to remove it
