This guide shows how to remove the battery from the HP Envy laptop (m6 k015dx)
Make sure to power down your device before the start of this guide, else you could have more problems. Also, be careful not to lose any screws in the process.

Shut down the computer

Remove all external devices

Unplug the AC adapter

Close the computer

Turn it upside down

Remove the 12 screws from the bottom.

Disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard.

Remove the 4 screws that hold the battery.

Gently lift the battery out of the computer.
