The following guide will instruct the user on the replacement of the Wireless LAN module or Wi-Fi card of an HP EliteBook x360 830 G5. The Wireless LAN module is a network adapter that allows users to access peer-to-peer, also known as local-access, networks.
Before starting this guide, be sure to turn off your laptop and unplug from the charging cord.

With the T5 screw-bit and screwdriver, loosen the five captive screws on the bottom of the laptop.

With a spudger or opening tool, pry above the computer's hinges and separate the posterior edge and sides.

Disconnect the coaxial antenna cables from the LAN module with a small pair of tweezers.

With the Phillips #1 screwdriver, loosen the single screw attaching the LAN module to the board.
