The process really is as essy as it looks. One thing though...
It seemed as though something would break before the battery would release. Not to worry; hold the case securely and the battery will eventually pop loose.
Great instructions, thanks. What helped me get the battery loose was to hit the outside of the case where the battery was with a hair dryer on high heat for about 4 minutes, then use a small flat-blade screwdriver under the battery corner, next to where the speaker is housed. It’s tempting to insert the pry tool between the battery and the thin “walls” that surround it, but the walls bent with slight pressure, so don’t do it!
Just make sure you have the right tools . T4 comes in a Kit with several other sizes at Lowe’s . $5.00
did not have the blue plastic tool to pry open with but I did use a real small flat head screw driver. Worked fine
thanks Maurice, very helpful.
The hardest part was removing the cover. I didn’t have the plastic tool but managed, eventually.
Also the battery was a challenge, as previously noted in prior comment.
It is installed with powerful twin stick tape, so was able to pry it out along the perimeter, to loosen it up.
