This guide will walk you through the replacement of the Eureka SuctionSeal Pet canister filter. Symptoms of a clogged or faulty canister filter include poor suction and performance. This component of the vacuum is responsible for preventing dust particles from clogging the vacuum and being released into the air during use. Cleaning out or replacing the filter will restore suction power to your vacuum, as well as prevent the vacuum from overheating.

Pull up on the black handle on the top of the canister, and pull away from the body of the vacuum.

Pull up on the latch located towards the upper center of the dust container, revealing the canister filter.

Pull on the blue tag labeled as "washable" to remove the canister filter.
