Carefully remove the battery from the device using the Metal Spudger tool to gently separate the battery by wedging it between the device and the battery.

Carefully remove the solder that connects the battery wires to the device using the solder sucker tool and a soldering iron.

Once all solder is gone, remove the wires from the device to free the battery.
