Allen wrench works fine.
No need to buy Torx screwdriver
I was able to remove the terminals from the power cord but am not sure how to remove the connectors from the wires. I am guessing I need to remove these connectors to get the old power cord and then use the connectors with the new wires.
Hello, I have been given a Dyson DC 14 and it looks like the plug has been chopped off clean all the way at the very end of the Court. I would like to replace the plug or the entire cord if that's the case. But I am wondering if I do replace the cord and spend that type of money how do I know if it's going to work or not? So is there a way to test the vacuum with my car battery by touching the two cords to the terminals? also which cord is positive and which cord is negative cuz there's a black and a white cord? I have always wanted a Dyson vacuum. It is actually been a dream of mine because I think they're so cool. So now that I have one I want to fix it as inexpensively as possible. Please help thank you so much Brian Higgins
