Memory modules allow computers to store electronic memory for users to access at a later time. This guide will show you how to install new memory modules on the Dell XPS 720 H2C, as well as how to reseat the current memory modules on the computer. The procedure is simple and requires minimal disassembly.

Remove the cover panel on the side of the computer by pulling out the latch on the back panel and pulling the panel downwards towards the ground.

The memory modules are located directly above the XPS processor and are attached to the motherboard.

There are notches securing the memory modules onto the motherboard.

Push down and outward on the both notches to release each memory module from the motherboard.

Carefully remove each memory module from its slot.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
