Slide the release latches to unlock the battery.

Slide the battery and remove it from the computer.

Pry up to release the tabs securing the keyboard to the computer.

Flip the keyboard and lay it on the palm-rest.

Disconnect the keyboard cable from the system board.

Remove the keyboard from the computer.

Remove the screws that secure the bottom base.

Flip the computer and disconnect the power board cable and the touchpad cable.

Remove the screws that secure the palm-rest to the computer.

Starting from the left, pry up the palm-rest and remove it from the computer.

Remove the screws that secure the hard-drive bracket.

Slide and lift the hard drive and lift it out of the computer.
