The CMOS battery maintains the time, date, hard disk and other configuration settings in the CMOS memory. When your CMOS battery dies, your system settings will be lost.

Power down your PC and remove the power cord from the back.

Press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds, then release.

With the computer standing upright, firmly pull on the tab at the back of the computer.

When the side panel pops free, gently pull the panel away from the computer.

Insert a tool beside the battery and gently pry the battery out.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order. Make sure you place the battery with the flat (positive) side facing up.

Shouldn't the battery be listed in the parts? Squinting at the photo, it seems to be a CR2032?
