Before you begin, turn off your computer and unplug from the outlet.

Place the PC on a flat surface.

Turn the PC over so that the panel side faces upward.

Use your hand to lift the handle upward to access the hardware.

Locate the CPU fan

Locate the fan header
-

Unplug the fan header by pressing the little button and pulling upward.

Unscrew the 1.2 mm screw using a Phillips #1 screwdriver by turning it counterclockwise (left)

After disconnecting the fan from the frame, carefully lift the fan up.

Take the fan you intend to insert into the computer.

Align the new fan over the four screws you previously removed.

Insert the new fan header into its socket.

Place screws back in the holes

Tighten screws using the Phillips #1 screwdriver by turning it clockwise (right).

Place the access panel back on to secure the inner hardware.
