Before you begin, turn off your computer and unplug it from the outlet.

Place the PC on a flat surface.

Turn the PC over so that the panel side faces upward.

Use your hand to lift the handle upward to access the hardware.

Locate the CPU fan.

Locate the fan header (where the cords connect the fan to the motherboard).

Unplug the fan header by pressing the tab on the side of the connector and pulling upward.

Remove the four 1.2 mm screws from the fan using a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

After disconnecting the fan from the frame, carefully lift the fan up.

Align the new fan over the four screws you previously removed.

Insert the new fan header into the socket.

Replace and tighten screws using the Phillips #1 screwdriver.

Place the access panel back on to secure the inner hardware.
