Remove battery and base cover from the computer.

Open the retention clips away from the memory chip.

Remove the memory chip from the computer.

Put a new memory chip in the memory socket.

Push the memory chip until the clips lock it. If a second memory chip needs to be installed, repeat steps 1 through 6.

Replace the pre-removal parts in descending order.

Install the battery and base cover back on the computer.
