Turn the laptop over so that the back is facing up.

Remove the nine 3 mm screws with a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

Use an opening tool to pry the back cover away from the laptop.

Using tweezers, disconnect the power cable connecting the speakers to the motherboard.

Using the nylon spudger, pry off the velcro straps attaching the cable to the chassis.

Using the spudger, pry off the other velcro strap attaching the power cable to the chassis.

Using your fingers, unhook the last part of the cable from this metal hook.

They will be attached via velcro to it so you should have some resistance. This is normal.
